MI College Goal: FAFSA
Students and families looking for assistance with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are encouraged to attend MI College Goal. MI College Goal is statewide FAFSA completion initiative led by EduGuide which will take place at several host sites throughout Michigan. Financial aid professionals will be volunteering at every site to guide students and families through the application.
The primary date for MI College Goal is Sunday, February 8, 2015; however, some sites have selected a different date and time to their Collage Goal event. Please visit www.micollegegoal.org and check the "Locations" tab to see the date and time of the location nearest you. The FAFSA deadline for State of Michigan aid and priority consideration is March 1, 2015.
Credit Recovery
Session #3 has begun! Lab hours are Monday-Thursday from 2:30-3:30 pm. Check out the Credit Recovery website and calendar to learn more.
Juniors
Get ready for the ACT. ACT preparation classes are available on February 14th and February 28th. You only need to attend one class. Please see the flyer for more details.

Marauder Showcase!
On Tuesday, February 10th, we will have our first ever "Marauder Showcase" to welcome incoming freshman and prospective families into our school for the fall. The event will begin at 7:00 pm with a short presentation in the Annex (20 minutes). This will be immediately followed by a carousel of all the wonderful things our school has to offer in the Aux. Gym!

Extra Curricular:
Pasta for Pennies
Our National Honor Society will once again be supporting the Leukemia Lymphoma Society through our Pasta for Pennies Drive! This fundraiser will take place in each 4th hour class from February 2nd - February 12th. The class who raises the most money wins an Olive Garden Lunch! Our goal this year will be to raise $4000 to be awarded the Champions of Change banner!
Bake Sale
Our National Honor Society will also be fundraising for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society by hosting a $1 bake sale! This will run February 9th - February 12th before school and during lunches. The bake goods will be provided by our National Honor Society members.

Track Team Meeting Midwest
Interested in joining the Track Team? Good News! Coach Mark will be hosting a meeting on February 21st after school in the cafeteria. Don't miss out!

Midwest Regional Goalball Tournament
This year, the MBAA is hosting the Midwest Regional Goalball Tournament at Warren Mott High School! The tournament has been successful over the last three years that the number of teams who want to participate has steadily increased. Team USA has already qualified for the 2016 ParOlympics in Rio. Most, if not all, of the Team USA members will be at the Midwest Regional Tournament playing for their prospective state's teams. The tournament will run Saturday, February 21st and Sunday, February 22nd. Come out and enjoy the competition!
