Prom is almost here Seniors! Prom guests passes and contracts will be available starting April 27th outside room 101 and inside all house offices!
Ticket sales will begin May 4th - May 20th!

Prom is on June 3rd at Cherry Creek Golf Club! Door open at 6:30p.m. Prom starts at 7:00p.m. and ends at 11:00p.m.! Have an amazing night Seniors!

Sports:

Union College Bowling

Chelsea Gilliam, the Head Men's and Women's Bowling Coach at Union College in Barbourville, KY, is looking for any athletes who are interested in bowling at the collegiate level this coming fall! State Band Festival

Our 4 bands attended State Band Festival last weekend. The Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Cadet Band received a 1st Division rating. The Concert Band received a 2nd Division rating. We are so proud to have a hardworking and dedicated band director, Mr. Miller! Great work bands!

Science Olympiad

Our Science Olympiad went to Michigan State last weekend to participate in State Science Olympiad. The team placed 22nd which is two places higher than last year! They also received two first place medals in two events. The first event was Air Trajectory with Andrew R. and Zachary Y. The second event was Green Generation with Sara H and Sukira M. 

The Team also placed 9th in Protein Modeling with Zachary W., Joyce Z, and Salwan B. The Team received 10th place in Bridge with Isabelle B. and Sukira M. And also placed 9th in Cell Biology with Zachary W and Dinko I. Lastly the team received 'The Best New Team' for a second year in a row!

We are very proud of the students and all their hard work! Thank you Mrs. Memminger for your dedication to the team!

Talent Show!

The Warren Mott Talent Show was a success! A lot of talent was presented and we are truly proud of all our contestants!

Warren Mott will be hosting Talent Show results have been posted! Congratulations to those who made it! There will be MANDATORY dress rehearsals on April 28th and April 29th in the Annex from 2:30p.m.-4:30p.m.!

The Talent Show will take place on April 30th from 7:00p.m-9:00p.m. in the Annex! Come out and support the performers in the Talent Show!

Our National Honor Society and Leadership students are participating in the Detroit Zoo Shades of Pink Zoo Walk to help raise money for Breast Cancer research! This event takes place on April 25th at 8:00 a.m.!

Talent Show!

Warren Mott will be hosting Talent Show Auditions on April 21st-April 23rd in the Annex from 2:30p.m.-4:00p.m.! Any student can audition for a spot in the talent show! Sign up for an audition time slot!

Science Olympiad

The Science Olympiad Team earned third place (up two places from last year) in the county and qualified for the state competition at Michigan State University on May 2nd. 22 out of 25 of our students won individual medals, and some students won multiple medals! The team took 13 medal in the 23 events with first place finishes in Bridge and Protein Modeling. The alternate team had a strong showing as well, winning 6 out of the 10 alternate events. We would like to thank Mrs. Memminger, Mrs. Hayes, Mr. Berdy, and Alex Berdy for their commitment to our students and all the time and energy they have put in since the start of the year. Our students were awesome and we are very proud of them!

Cosmetology Program

Current Sophomores who are interested in the Cosmetology Program must attend the two required visits: The first tour date on Tuesday, March 24th and one of the parent meetings on May 13th or May 21st at 6:00 p.m. See your counselor for more information!

Our band members preformed at 38 Solo & Ensemble events at Chippewa Valley High School this past Saturday. Out of the 38 events - 29 were placed in the 1st division, and 9 were placed in the 2nd division. 68 band members participated and all of them received medals. One ensemble was also nominated to audition for the Michigan Youth Arts Festival at Western Michigan University in May. This is considered a high honor and we are glad to have such a dedicated band director, Mr. Miller, and a fantastic band program!

Air Force Academy

Attention all Juniors who are interested in attending the Air Force Academy! Representative from the Academy will be at Warren Mott this week! Sign up in the counseling center if you are interested.

Macomb Book Drive

The Macomb County Board of Commissioners is sponsoring a book drive during March is Reading Month that will kick-off on March 2nd and will run through March 27th. Six drop locations will be stationed across the county. The purpose of the book drive is to provide additional resources to our area schools.

The Macomb County Board of Commissioners is asking each school to complete an application in order to be eligible to be a recipient of the donated books. Applications are due by March 20th. The winner of the book donations will be announced March 27.

AP Exam Registration

Warren Mott Students are now able to register for their AP Exams. Students have until Friday, March 20th to register!

Credit Recovery

Session #3 ends Thursday, March 19th! All course work and finals must be completed no later than 3:30 PM on Thursday, March 19th.  Final exams must be taken in the lab with the CR academic coaches.  Lab hours are Monday-Thursday from 2:30-3:30 pm.
