ACT

The ACT is here Juniors! Here is a letter for parents regarding the ACT. Good luck Juniors and do your best!

AP Exam Registration

Warren Mott Students will be able to start registering for their AP Exam on March 2nd. Get ready to register!

MI College Goal: FAFSA

Students and families looking for assistance with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are encouraged to attend MI College Goal. MI College Goal is statewide FAFSA completion initiative led by EduGuide which will take place at several host sites throughout Michigan. Financial aid professionals will be volunteering at every site to guide students and families through the application.

The primary date for MI College Goal is Sunday, February 8, 2015; however, some sites have selected a different date and time to their Collage Goal event. Please visit www.micollegegoal.org and check the "Locations" tab to see the date and time of the location nearest you. The FAFSA deadline for State of Michigan aid and priority consideration is March 1, 2015.

Credit Recovery

Session #3 has begun! Lab hours are Monday-Thursday from 2:30-3:30 pm. Check out the Credit Recovery website and calendar to learn more.

Juniors

Get ready for the ACT. There is an ACT preparation class available on February 28th. Please see the flyer for more details.

Taxes Macomb Book Drive

Macomb Book Drive

The Macomb County Board of Commissioners is sponsoring a book drive during March is Reading Month that will kick-off on March 2nd and will run through March 27th. Six drop locations will be stationed across the county. The purpose of the book drive is to provide additional resources to our area schools.

The Macomb County Board of Commissioners is asking each school to complete an application in order to be eligible to be a recipient of the donated books. Applications are due by March 20th. The winner of the book donations will be announced March 27.

Extra Curricular:

Clubs and Organization Photos

On Friday, February 27th, Patrick Studios will be here to captures Warren Mott's clubs and organization photos! Make sure to wear your club or organization apparel for your scheduled photo date! The Senior Block photo will be taken the last 10 minutes of 6th hour. Make sure to wear Senior apparel that day!

Thursday- Ugly Sweater
Friday- Class Colors
           Freshmen- Yellow
           Sophomore- Red
           Junior- Purple
           Senior- Silver, Electric Blue, Black

Snowcoming is Saturday, February 28th, from 7:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M.
Tickets will be sold for $20 during all three lunches, before, and after school.
There will also be a special halftime show during the game on Friday, February 27th!

Sports:

School Diving Record Broken!

Brendon Stevens broke the school diving record of 309.1 with the score of 317 on February 10th against Lincoln High School and then broke his own school record on February 12th against Lakeview High School with a score of 333.8!
