Warren Mott Booster Bingo

Our Warren Mott Boosters are hosting Charity Bingo every Wednesday night at Rosemark Bingo Hall (20791 E 13 Mile Rd. Roseville, MI 48066) with all proceeds benefiting Warren Mott students. The doors open at 4:00p.m. and the games begin at 6:30p.m. Everyone is welcome!

Extra Curricular:

Solo & Ensemble

Our band members preformed at 38 Solo & Ensemble events at Chippewa Valley High School this past Saturday. Out of the 38 events - 29 were placed in the 1st division, and 9 were placed in the 2nd division. 68 band members participated and all of them received medals. One ensemble was also nominated to audition for the Michigan Youth Arts Festival at Western Michigan University in May. This is considered a high honor and we are glad to have such a dedicated band director, Mr. Miller, and a fantastic band program!

Air Force Academy

Attention all Juniors who are interested in attending the Air Force Academy! Representative from the Academy will be at Warren Mott this week! Sign up in the counseling center if you are interested. 

Science Olympiad

The Science Olympiad Team earned third place (up two places from last year) in the county and qualified for the state competition at Michigan State University on May 2nd. 22 out of 25 of our students won individual medals, and some students won multiple medals! The team took 13 medal in the 23 events with first place finishes in Bridge and Protein Modeling. The alternate team had a strong showing as well, winning 6 out of the 10 alternate events. We would like to thank Mrs. Memminger, Mrs. Hayes, Mr. Berdy, and Alex Berdy for their commitment to our students and all the time and energy they have put in since the start of the year. Our students were awesome and we are very proud of them!

Cosmetology Program

Current Sophomores who are interested in the Cosmetology Program must attend the two required visits: The first tour date on Tuesday, March 24th and one of the parent meetings on May 13th or May 21st at 6:00 p.m. See your counselor for more information!

Warren Mott will be hosting the Annual Mattress and Sheet Sale on Saturday, March 28th from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. in the cafeteria! The Macomb County Board of Commissioners is sponsoring a book drive during March is Reading Month that will kick-off on March 2nd and will run through March 27th. Six drop locations will be stationed across the county. The purpose of the book drive is to provide additional resources to our area schools.

The Macomb County Board of Commissioners is asking each school to complete an application in order to be eligible to be a recipient of the donated books. Applications are due by March 20th. The winner of the book donations will be announced March 27.

Warren Mott Students are now able to register for their AP Exams. Students have until Friday, March 20th to register!

Credit Recovery

Session #3 ends Thursday, March 19th! All course work and finals must be completed no later than 3:30 PM on Thursday, March 19th.  Final exams must be taken in the lab with the CR academic coaches.  Lab hours are Monday-Thursday from 2:30-3:30 pm. School Diving Record Broken!

Brendon Stevens broke the school diving record of 309.1 with the score of 317 on February 10th against Lincoln High School and then broke his own school record on February 12th against Lakeview High School with a score of 333.8!
