January Scholarships
Our counselors have comprised a list of scholarships for January that are awarded by Michigan Colleges. They have also made a bulletin that lists many programs and opportunities for underclassmen and parents.
Credit Recovery
Session #3 has begun! Lab hours are Monday-Thursday from 2:30-3:30 pm. Check out the Credit Recovery website and calendar to learn more.
Juniors
Get ready for the ACT. ACT preparation classes are available on January 24th, February 7th, February 14th, or February 28th. You only need to attend one class. Please see the flyer for more details.
Classes
Channel 7 was here to film The List, this past Friday, featuring Brittany Roby and Mr. Tahrebandi's 5th hour Lifetime class! The segment is scheduled to air Thursday, January 29th on The List @ 7:30 pm on WXYZ Channel 7!

Marauder Showcase!
On Tuesday, February 10th, we will have first ever "Marauder Showcase" to welcome incoming freshman and prospective families into our school for the fall. The event will begin at 7:00 pm with a short presentation in the Annex (20 minutes). This will be immediately followed by a carousel of all the wonderful things our school has to offer in the Aux. Gym. We would like to have three lines of tables in the Aux. Gym showcasing academics, clubs and organizations, and athletics.

Extra Curricular:
Pasta for Pennies
Our National Honor Society will once again be supporting the Leukemia Lymphoma Society through our Pasta for Pennies Drive! This fundraiser will take place in each 4th hour class from February 2nd - February 12th. The class who raises the most money wins an Olive Garden Lunch! The boxes to collect money will be distributed to each class on January 29th. Our goal this year will be to raise $4000 to be awarded the Champions of Change banner!
Bake Sale
Our National Honor Society will also be fundraising for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society by hosting a $1 bake sale! This will run February 9th - February 12th before school and during lunches. The bake good will be provided by our National Honor Society members.

Track Team Meeting
Interested in joining the Track Team? Good News! Coach Mark will be hosting a meeting on February 21st after school in the cafeteria. Don't miss out!
